A Moroccan Jew in Las Vegas Who Teaches Chassidim English ｜ Fluentalk ｜ Kipkeh

Bentzy Elkouby grew up Moroccan in the UK, lives in Las Vegas, and spends his days helping heimishe yidden in Monsey, Monroe, Boro Park and Williamsburg find their English. Tuli sits down with him to hear his story. With @BentziElkouby of @MyFluenTalk How a Moroccan Bentzion got told he sounds like an "OTD Bobover." How he started at Fluentalk as an employee and ended up running sales and operations. Why so many people leaving kollel hit the same wall: "It's hard enough to pitch myself in my mama loshon. Now I have to pitch myself in a different loshon." And what yiddishkeit looks like in Las Vegas: minyanim behind the casinos, the trade shows that turn Vegas into Brooklyn No. 2, and the steak sandwich that closed a deal two days later. Along the way, Bentzy explains how Fluentalk works: over 5,000 clients from the Chassidish community, 15-minute lessons twice a week, and crash courses with Eisek for people getting ready for the workforce.
