Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yiddish Videos (the "Service"). By creating an account, watching videos, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password confidential.

• One account is for one person. You may not share account credentials.
• To protect access, only one device may be signed in to an account at a time. Signing in on a new device ends any other active session.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Free access and Premium

The Service offers a free tier that includes a limited number of long-form videos each month and unrestricted access to Shorts. Premium is a paid subscription that removes the monthly limit and unlocks additional features such as video delivery requests.

• Premium is billed at the price shown at checkout, on a recurring monthly basis, after any free trial period.
• If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until it ends. You may cancel before the trial ends at no cost.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• We may change pricing or plan features. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect for you.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms as applicable. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Video delivery requests

Premium subscribers may submit requests asking us to add specific videos to the archive, including a source link and instructions. You represent that you have the right to share any link or material you submit. We may decline any request at our discretion and do not guarantee that requested content will be added or remain available.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Download, copy, redistribute, or publicly perform content from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Circumvent access limits, paywalls, the single-session restriction, or any security measure.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service.
• Interfere with the Service, infringe others' rights, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Content and intellectual property

All videos, trademarks, and materials on the Service are owned by Yiddish Videos or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream content for your own non-commercial use while your account is in good standing. No other rights are granted.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yiddish Videos will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
