A large fire broke out earlier, burning through a building on 14th Avenue and 40th Street, with flames continuing to burn as firefighters battled the blaze. The FDNY transmitted a 10-75 for the fire at 4002 14th Avenue after flames broke out inside the three story building that housed various mechanical machines.
