Do you have what it takes？ ｜ Matzil Search and Rescue’s Wilderness Unit.

Join more than 30 of our Wilderness Unit members for an overnight training and see what it takes to be part of MATZIL Search & Rescue's Wilderness Unit. Midnight, no reception, a heavy pack, close to ten miles and 2,500 feet of climbing. Members hike alone through fog and mud, sleep a few hours at Echo Lake, climb to the summit of Overlook Mountain to take a navigational test. This was the last training of the season, and the night that shows who is ready. When someone goes missing in the wilderness, our volunteers are the ones who go out and find them. Every mile of training is for someone still waiting to be found. Think you have what it takes?
