Ingredients:โช๏ธ1 fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped (not too small pieces)
โช๏ธ3 cups sugar
โช๏ธ2 cups water
โช๏ธJuice of 2 lemons (about 5 tablespoons Lemon juice)
Directions:Add all ingredients to a pot and mix well.Bring to a boil.
Once it starts to bubble, let it gently bubble for 10 minutes.Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Strain out the ginger pieces.Pour the syrup evenly into 6โ8 oz containers.
Pour into a seltzer bottle โ first remove a little seltzer so it doesnโt overflow.Go slowly, as the ginger is strong and the carbonation can cause it to foam up.
Tip:Add more or less of the syrup to the bottle, depending on how strong or mild you want the flavor
