A house on Tulip Lane was fully engulfed in flames, with a fatality reported at the scene.

Multiple emergency agencies responded to the incident, including the Chester, Monroe, Woodbury, Salisbury Mills, Washingtonville, Goshen, and Greenwood Lake Fire Departments, along with New York State Police, Chester Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and Empress EMS.

The cause of the fire has not yet been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
