Alaska Broke Me: The Jewish Museum That Shattered My Heart | Yiddish

Part 2 of my 50 Days 50 States road trip.

After flying from Seattle to Anchorage, Alaska, I visited Chabad of Anchorage and then walked into the Alaska Jewish Museum. I’ve been in museums all across the world — but this one shattered me. It was the first time in my life I cried inside a museum.

From that heavy moment, Alaska flipped to pure beauty:

  • Glen Alps / Flattop Trailhead
  • Potter Marsh Bird Sanctuary (still don’t know what this place is for 😂)
  • Beluga Point — wild, insane views
  • And then Point Woronzof… jets taking off right above my head

This was Day 1 in Alaska.

Day 2 → Hawaii. Coming next.

  1. Thank you so much for your nice videos. I just wanted to comment on the beach surface seems to be lava from a valcano. The white tree skeletons are also seemingly burnt trees. Thank you again.
