I’ve been waiting…
Waiting for warmth in the cold.
For light in the darkness.
For my voice to be heard.
For the broken pieces to finally come together.
I look into a shattered mirror—seeing fragments of a boy who felt lost, different, and alone.
I flip through old memories, pictures of a childhood filled with silent battles.
I reach for a flame, but the matches break one by one—just like dreams that felt too fragile to hold.
I sit in the cold, surrounded by crumpled notes, unfinished lyrics, prayers turned into whispers.
And isn’t that the story of our people?
A people longing, waiting, broken—but never giving up.
A people wandering, yearning for the day Hashem will gather us, hold us, and bring us home.
And then—a spark.
A single flame catches.
The darkness flickers with hope.
And in that moment, the pain becomes a song.
A song of faith.
A song of longing.
A song for Him—for the One we’ve all been waiting for.
This is more than just music.
It’s a cry from the soul.
May we all see the day when our waiting turns into redemption.
