This week we sat down for a real uplifting, high-energy episode with Chaim Brown โ well-known actor and singer โ for an open, honest conversation about his journey on both the music and acting side.
We spoke about how his singing started back in his teenage years in Yeshiva, and how music became one of his first ways to express emotion and connect to people.
From there we got into his acting career โ what makes someone a great actor, what it really means to step into a role, and why he believes real acting isnโt about acting at allโฆ itโs about vulnerability. Being able to open yourself up and give something real.
He shared a wild story about how he once came into a production as a last-minute backup after an actor dropped out โ with barely any time to prepare โ and how that unexpected situation ended up turning into him becoming the main actor on stage.
We also spoke about the emotional contrast between singing at heartwarming chuppahs and performing in deep acting scenes โ and why acting is the place where he feels he gives the most of himself emotionally.
A real, down-to-earth conversation about talent, opportunity, and how sometimes the moments you didnโt planโฆ end up putting you exactly where youโre meant to be.
