Cantor Yaakov Stark — “Sheyiboneh” (Composed by Israel Schorr, popularized by Moshe Koussevitzky)

Thousands of men, women, and children gathered at the Armory in Crown Heights for the international Rambam celebration marking the completion of the 45th cycle of daily Rambam study. The inspiring event featured distinguished Rabbonim, powerful speakers, and uplifting music and nigunim with Avraham Fried and Cantor Yaakov Stark.

In this moving performance, Cantor Yaakov Stark presents “Sheyiboneh,” the classic composition by Israel Schorr, famously rendered by the legendary chazzan Moshe Koussevitzky, a heartfelt prayer for the rebuilding of the Beis HaMikdash. Also frequently sung at the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Farbrengens in 770.
