What you’re about to see took place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, just hours before Shabbos.

A suspect, driven by hate toward the Jewish community, targeted several individuals, creating a tense and dangerous situation.

SHOMRIM was alerted and responded immediately. As volunteers canvassed the area, they located the suspect just moments before another potential assault.

He was stopped and taken into custody by the NYPD. Authorities report he faces multiple charges of a hate crime assault and was processed at the 90th Precinct.

Thanks to the rapid response of SHOMRIM volunteers, along with the NYPD and the Brooklyn DA, the threat was stopped. The suspect is now in custody, stay safe and stay alert.
