In this episode of the Pushet Pshat Podcast, co-host Ari sits down with Shauli, for a long-awaited and much-requested conversation – Who is Shauli?
Every second week, Shauli sits in the host’s chair guiding deep, honest discussions – but this time, the spotlight turns to him. He opens up about his upbringing, his journey as a counsellor in Hackney, and his personal experiences as an older single navigating life and the shidduch crisis in today’s community.
Raw, emotional, and eye-opening – this episode offers a real glimpse behind the mic, revealing the man who helps others open up every week.
Managed & Edited by Mendy Getter, Pushet Pshat is more than just a conversation-it’s a journey into real-life experiences, insights, and discussions that matter, with different unique perspectives.

As someone who went through at least part of what you are going through now as an older Bucher, I myself got married at 33 years old and I relate very much with your story. I want to thank you very much for bringing up this very painful and important topic and I really admire you for staying strong and moving on in life, My experience taught me that this is the only way to survive in these difficult times. Keep strong Shauli! You are great! You are doing the right thing!
A git kvitel.
